For those who love bold and smooth coffee with a heavy body, French Press is a classic. It's easy to learn and hard to mess up.

You’ll Need:

  • French Press (350ml for 1 cup)

  • Freshly ground Bro Coffee (coarse grind)

  • Scale or tablespoon

  • Kettle with hot water (just off boil: ~96°C)

  • Stirrer or spoon

  • Timer

Brew Ratio:


1:15 coffee to water (e.g. 30g coffee to 450ml water)

 

Step-by-Step:

  1. Add coffee to the French Press.

  2. Start timer and pour in hot water (saturate all grounds).

  3. Stir gently after 30 seconds.

  4. Place lid (don’t plunge yet). Let steep for 4 minutes.

  5. Slowly press the plunger down.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Don’t let it sit too long post-brew — it’ll keep extracting and turn bitter.
