Espresso Brew Guide

Short, intense, and complex—espresso is an art. But with the right recipe and a good machine, you can get café-level shots at home.

You’ll Need:

  • Espresso machine

  • Tamper

  • Freshly ground Bro Coffee (fine grind)

  • Scale

  • Timer

Brew Ratio:
1:2 (e.g. 17.5g in, 36g out)

Steps:

  1. Dose and evenly distribute grounds into portafilter.

  2. Tamp with consistent pressure.

  3. Lock in and start your shot.

  4. Aim for 25–30 seconds extraction.

  5. Stop when you hit your target yield.

Pro Tip:
Dial in with small grind adjustments—too fast = sour, too slow = bitter.
