Pour Over Guide

Pour Over brings out the nuances and brightness in your beans. It’s all about control and clarity.

You’ll Need:

  • Pour Over dripper (like V60 or Kalita)

  • Filter

  • Freshly ground Bro Coffee (medium grind)

  • Gooseneck kettle - normal kettle is also fine. 

  • Scale

  • Timer

  • Mug or carafe

Brew Ratio:


1:16 (e.g. 25g coffee to 400ml water)

Steps:

  1. Place filter and rinse with hot water (discard rinse water).

  2. Add ground coffee.

  3. Start timer and bloom with double the amount of water (e.g. 50g).

  4. After 30 seconds, slowly pour the rest in circles.

  5. Aim for a total brew time of ~2.5–3 minutes.

Pro Tip:
Pour consistency matters—slow and steady wins the flavor race.
